Stohn
Stohn is very qualified to write about beer – see Stuff White People Like #23 and #134 to see his inflated qualifications.
As a Cascadian Nationalist, Stohn prefers beers from the Pacific Northwest, particularly beers from Diamond Knot, Mac & Jack’s, Georgetown, Deschutes, Rogue, Widmer, McMenamins, Ninkasi, Elysian, and Full Sail.
An almnus of the University of Oregon, Stohn lives in the Seattle area as an underemployed public affairs consultant – which is as vague and unproductive as it sounds. He is also married with a very cute and active baby boy.

I once believed that great beer came from Mexico and was bottled in Chicago and was 9.99 for a 30 pack! What was I thinking? I started my beer drinking days back as an athlete @ THE Colorado State University "Go Rams"; also the home of New Belgium Brewing Co. My first introduction to craft beer was my junior year in college, and I fell in love!
Although I still grab a Corona or a Heineken every now again, my taste buds draw me to much better beers!
Favorites include: Dogfish head's Bitches brew, Sam Adams Oktoberfest, any New Belgium beers and who can forget my new love Rouge's John John's!
This Mexican does 2 things great: get people strong and give great company when drinking beer!
Stay Strong, Stay Ready!!!

Many years ago, freshmen and sophomore year in college, I believed beer’s primary use was for juvenile drinking games, such as beer pong. I soon realized there were many other ways to enjoy a simple pint.
Going to college over in Tacoma there was a little coffee shop that always had great micro-brews on tap. A perfect night of studying consisted of staying in the library for a few hours. Studying or not, that is beside the point, being in the library itself felt like a productive night. Of course after such a “productive night”, I would drop by the coffee shop and acquire a Rogue Dead Guy Ale.
My current favorite brews consist of: Rogue Dead Guy Ale (off the tap and all time favorite), Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Deschutes Jubelale Ale (favorite winter ale), Moose Drool Brown Ale, and Red Hook Tripel Belgian.
Cheers!
